The coupling reaction of aryl bromides with secondary amines, catalyzed by Pd complexes of Tri(o-tolyl)-phosphine, is exemplified by reactions of this bromide with piperidine, diethylamine, etc., in the presence of a strong base e.g. LiHMDS: Tetrahedron Lett., 36, 3609 (1995).
